Prep, Maintain + Care

Lash Extensions + Fills

Pre-care:

DO

  • come with clean natural lashes and no eye makeup

  • bring inspiration photos if it is your first time

  • wear comfortable clothes

  • find pictures of inspiration for your preferred lash style

  • make sure you allot enough time for your appointment 

  • silence your phone 

DON'T

  • drink any caffeine on the day of your appointment 

  • drink water 2-3 hours before your appointment 

 

Aftercare: 

DO

  • wash your lashes with the Huaka Foam Lash Shampoo daily 

  • Brush lashes with spoolie daily 

  • bring your lash shampoo to the gym or on vacations

  • prebook your next Lash appointment 

DON'T

  • Don’t face sleep

  • Don’t pick at your extensions 

  • Don’t go near extreme heats like steam, ovens or hairdryers 

  • Don’t put falsies or oil based makeup on or around eyes

  • Don’t put mascara over your lash extensions

Brow Lamination

Pre-care: 

DO

  • come to appointment with clean brows

DON'T

  • tweeze 1 week prior to appointment 

  • use exfoliants, retinoids, or AHAs on your face for one to two weeks before your brow lamination

Aftercare:

DO

  • prebook your next Brow Lamination

DON'T

  • get brows wet for 24 hours 

  • touch the brows for 24 hours 

  • apply makeup to the area for 24 hours 

  • have contact with direct sunlight, saunas, and swimming pools for 48 hours

  • use exfoliating, anti-aging skincare, or fake tanners around the brow area for 3 days following your appointment 

  • sleep directly on your brows  

Infrared Sauna

Sessions are an hour long and include complimentary hydration and towels. This procedure can be done in combination with Laser Lipo and Wood Therapy to expedite fat loss goals and promote overall well-being. 

 

Pre-care:

DO

  • drink 10-12 cups of water in the 24 hours leading up to your appointment

  • remove any makeup, lotions, and jewelry prior to session

  • bring comfortable clothes, light clothing like a swimsuit or undergarments during your session and loose fitting clothes to change into afterwards

  • bring hydration — complimentary water is provided and it is best to drink throughout your session

DON'T 

  • drink alcohol 72 hours before appointment 

  • drink drink excessive caffeine, soft drinks, or juice the day of your appointment 

  • eat 1 hour before appointment 

Aftercare: 

DO

  • take a warm or cool shower to wash off the toxins that are now on the outside of your skin

  • rehydrate what was lost in the sauna session by drinking a lot of water 

  • prebook your next sauna session 

DON'T

  • use chemical laden soaps or heavy lotions after your appointment 

Laser Lipo, Body Sculpting + Wood Therapy

Pre-care: 

DO

  • drink 10-12 cups of water in the 24 hours before your appointment 

DON'T

  • drink caffeine, alcohol, or use tobacco in the 24 hours before your appointment 

  • eat any sugar 2-4 hours before appointment 

 

Aftercare:

DO

  • drink 10-12 cups of water in the 24 hours after your appointment 

  • continue to stay hydrated between appointments 

  • Do not eat any sugar 2-4 hours after appointment 

  • move your body for a minimum of 20 minutes after each appointment 

  • maintain the best possible diet after procedure 

DON'T

  • forget to prebook your next Laser Lipo appointment 

Brow Wax + Shaping

Pre-care: 

DO

  • allow your brow hairs to grow at least 2 mm (about 3-4 weeks) prior to appointment 

DON'T

  • Botox in the area 2 weeks prior to appointment 

  • tan in the sun for one week prior to your appointment 

  • get a brow wax, tinting, microdermabrasion, or chemical peels one week prior to your appointment 

  • drink alcohol 24 hours before your appointment 

  • take Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E, Advil, or Ibuprofen 24 hours before your appointment 

  • drink any caffeine on your appointment day

  • come to appointment with clean brows 

  • Please note: you will be more sensitive on your menstrual cycle

Aftercare:

DO

  • wash your hands before touching the area 

  • avoid tweezing between waxes 

  • prebook your next Wax & Shaping

DON'T

  • sweat for 24 hours

  • apply makeup to the area for 24 hours 

  • apply perfumed products

Lash Lift + Tint

Pre-care:

DO

  • come to appointment with clean lashes and no eye makeup

  • silence your phone

DON'T

  • drink caffeine the day of your appointment   

 

Aftercare:

DO

  • be gentle with your eyelashes— no rubbing

DON'T

  • get your eyelashes wet for 24 hours

  • apply eye makeup for 24 hours 

  • sweat for 24 hours 

  • go into a sauna or steam face for 24 hours 

  • do any other facial treatments for 24 hours

  • use oil-based products 

  • use waterproof mascara 

  • swim for 24 hours

  • face sleep
