Everything You Need To Know
For A Flawless Spray Tan
Please read and follow all prep, aftercare, and maintenance instructions to ensure a flawless and longer-lasting glow.
1. Exfoliate + Rebalance
• Manicures, pedicures, facials, or peels may be done n no less than 24-48 hours prior.
• Exfoliate well in the two days leading up to your tan appointment. It is recommended to dry brush before showering, shave & use an oil-free scrub. If an oil-free scrub is not available, please wash well with body soap after to ensure there is no remaining oils on the skin.
• It is best to shower 4-6 hours before tan to allow skin pH to balance. If you don't have time to wait, finish shower with a cool rinse.
• No makeup nor lotion should be worn prior to arriving for your appointment. Deodorant is optional, client should be aware that deodorant may affect the underarm area of the tan.
• Please plan on wearing a panty or swimsuit bottom during the tan.
2. Develop + Rinse
• Wear loose dark clothes to the appointment: no bra*, no leggings, no denim. *If you wear a bra during the spray application, you may keep it on while developing.
• Stay dry for the duration of your wait time: no working out, no sweating, no washing dishes, etc.
• Gently rinse with a lukewarm shower after tan solution has cured and pat dry with a towel. Do not shave at this point as it may cause uneven streaks.
• Ask your techinician for a list of tan-safe lotions to apply immediately after showering.
3. Moisturize + Preserve
• Be gentle with your skin in order to preserve your tan: no harsh scrubs, loofahs, or dry brush until prepping for next tan.
• Apply tan-safe lotion and/or plain aloe vera gel all over morning and night.
• Use oil-free lotions and skin products only for the duration of the tan.
• Reduced time in salt water (ocean) and chlorine pools will prolong the life of your tan as both are natural exfoliants.
• When shaving, use a fresh (sharp) razor with an "air-touch" only.

HOW LONG WILL MY SPRAY TAN LAST?​
A spray tan will typically last 10-14 days depending on varying factors. The life of a spray tan depends about 75% on the clients' "canvas" and 25% artist's process and solutions.

HOW OFTEN CAN I GET A SPRAY TAN?​
Regular tan clients typically book their appointments for every 2 weeks. It is recommended to pre-book your appointments to ensure your spot is available.
